Really great place. We stayed with our two children (2y and 5m) and the cottage was perfect for us. Lots of things to do/visit nearby whatever the weather. The house is well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. Travel cot and highchair were provided and worked great for us. The essentials were provided plus some wood for the fire. No Future visitors should note to bring things like hand soap (one bar was provided) salt and pepper, laundry detergent etc.

Fantastic cottage with everything we needed would definitely recommend
This converted barn is beautiful, and the owner has provided everything you could need for your stay. The location is fantastic, but be aware that it is high up in the hills, with something of a hair raising drive on single track roads to get there/back. That said, we got used to it and would go again - the drive was worth it for the superb location and accommodation.

The house was amazing, well stocked, clean and in an amazing location.
The house was amazing, well stocked, clean and in an amazing location.
Roads are very narrow (one car width) and some driving skill is required.
Nearest shops are a way off so plan while your are in the village.
Roads are very steep and if you choose to walk to the village you have a strenuous hike back but very worth the effort.

We have stayed at Llanrhychwyn for the last 30 years, used to be house sitting just up the hillside from Sgubor Ucha. This cottage is perfect for us nowadays, very comfy and warm, delightful. We love the remoteness and tranquility.
We will be back many more times, it’s like going back home

very enjoyable stay in a great location, nice comfortable house, cool kitchen, great views, several little niggles but didn’t detract from the bigger picture, but the tv really needs updating, along with the dvd’s.
but would recommend this cottage
