"Lovely cottage however when there for work you need two things. Hot water and a bed.
Bed were comfy but hot water was absent. Out of 24 showers across 4 adults and 6 days only 3 ran hot.
Second bedroom vibrates and is super loud whenever water is running anywhere in the house too.
Disappointed as we called the owners and they assured us a maintenance person would come and check and fix this issue, meaning one of us took a day off work to wait for the person. Who never came.

"Absolutely loved my stay here, everything clean & well looked after. Great facilities & location. Just got home & now looking to book to go back asap!"
"We had a lovely week at Highfield Barton, a very clean and comfortable home. The lay out of the property with generous bedrooms and bathrooms, including the downstairs bedroom, worked really well for a multi generation group. The kitchen was very well equipped, but did not include any extras such as hand wash, salt & pepper, oil etc, that we have had in other properties. Milk, teabags and cookies were provided which was very welcome while we waited for the supermarket delivery. There were only a 3 tea towels which were not adequate for a party of 8 so we constantly washed them through. The games room, hot tub and gardens kept everyone entertained. We had a Tesco delivery so had no need of local shops, but the town centre was just a few minutes drive. The setting was very quiet and the ample parking accommodated 4 vehicles easily. The property would benefit from some hooks in the bathrooms for wet towels and in the bedrooms for dressing gowns, bags etc. Only one key was provided so the last person to leave had to remember to put it in the key safe each time we went out, so that we could all access the property. We will definitely be retuning and all agreed that it was good value for money. "
Capri offers easy access, with adjacent parking and a level entrance

"We liked that the property is very close to the beach. The property has no Internet/ wifi access. As the area has very little or no mobile phone reception that would be essential. The property itself need a good renovation/update.Overall,as it is very close to the beach and to the restaurant I would say it is a good place to stay.
