"My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Banyan cabin. It was very tranquil and allowed us to destress very easily. The cabin is in excellent condition with the kitchen bearing a nice modern look. There was a washer and dryer in the cabin which allowed us to wash some of our clothes no problem. Management was nice and friendly and helped us check into the cabin easily. The neighborhood is very quiet, except for a couple of trains that pass by (we didn't mind the trains though). Overall, I'd...

"Overall, the property looks great, although, we didn't utilize any of the amenities since we were only staying one night. Something I wish I'd realized ahead of time is that for these particular cabins, there is only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower. The welcome packet says to limit showers to 10 minutes but in my experience, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, but has everything you'd need.

"Property is currently being renovated but we were put into an older room with a bathtub and shower that had problems. Blackout curtains did not fully cover the window and the door let in a lot of light through the bottom.
That said, there is a nice pool and spa and exercise room (none of which we used during our one night stay).
Some great local restaurants nearby."
"You will be amazed. Beautiful restored building in sleepy town or Dunsmir right next to the fabulous camping fly fishing store and down the road from Mt Shasta. (Only things I might change- the dish (Blue dawn) and hand soap and towels - more icky soap!-in the was fake and didn't smell at all good and weren't in keeping with the beautiful ambiance. The new windows on the facade were fake aluminum and didn't go with the restored building.)"
"The new management is making every effort to improve the facility. A nice surprising touch was the toothbrush & comb offering. Our room also had a microwave & frig, which were not yet listed as room amenities in the hotel search app."
"It's in a convenient location near the freeway and within walking distance of their old town if you want to walk a bit. Prior to the trip I already knew it was self check-in and there would be no front desk, etc so that was fine. It's like staying at a bnb where you are given a code and you let yourself in your room. The room was pleasant and recently renovated. I liked the colors and layout. It's a good place to stay with pets."
"The room was old but well maintained and clean. Bed was sooo hard like a rock, coffee maker in room didn’t work, but the coffee available in front office was wonderful. Staff was kind and helpful. Recommended Curry King across the street which had great Indian food and yes mexican food. Wonderful, staff very polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was the best! Had boil egg, bananas, apples, danishes, bagels, toast, cereal, hot chocolate, oatmeal, cream cheese was available and milk. Coffee was even good!!"
