"The hotel was very well maintained. The room was clean, had refrigerator and nice shower . The staff is very friendly and efficient. The hotel situated on the top of the hill about 10 minutes walking from the center, 15 minutes walking from the beach, and 6 minutes walking from the train station. There are tons of great restaurants in the center. I booked this hotel because the website states that it has pool and sauna, The pool was great and clean, but I found out that If you want to use sauna, you have to pay for it separately €20/40minutes, also the use of the beach towel is €3 per use. If you want to use shuttle to the beach it is €20 at scheduled times. Breakfast was great, but would not recommend it for dinner. I only booked dinner one time, because they had local musicians playing Calabrian music. The music and performance were great, but the food tasted like warmed up frozen dinners and wine was not included in the price of the dinner (€35). They have good variety of massages and almost everyday, as an addition include complimentary mini facial , I think the name of the massage girl was Vincenza, she was really great. You just have to book your appointment at the front desk during morning time. Overall great hotel, would stay here again."

"Five stars do not do this hotel justice, a small boutique hotel tucked away in a busy part of Tropea, location was great and the view from the terrace over Tropea beach was incredible, sunset aperitivo is a must. However, the best part of our stay was the customer service, it is the best experience we have had in all our travels and we travel a lot. A huge call out to Cristina, she anticipated our every need, was really authentic and personable, also Gregor for his local knowledge of beaches to visit and casual chats. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back… thanks so much for such an incredible stay."

"The staff here was amazing, particularly Georgia who booked us into the most amazing dinner spots and organized a private cooking class for us! We walked everywhere here, it’s a lovely town and very safe. Breakfast was amazing and we loved sitting on the patio at night with our glass of wine. Our room was brand new renovated and it was large comfortable and clean, best shower ever, highly recommend."

"The food was a wonderful surprise. Location without a car made it challenging with poor weather for walkers to get up to the village. As far as the room it was clean and simple. Giovanni was most attentive in the restaurant, but Paola was unbelievable. We watched his attentiveness with great admiration. Really made the restaurant feel special which in turn translated to the patrons. "
