"Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. "This hotel has bad ratings. But the room was actually quite nice. Just outdated. It was clean and smelled good. I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels and beggars can't be choosers. For as cheap as it was to stay here. It's a great place. That's why I'm trying to give it five stars. Well worth the money."
