"Stayed there for Airventure (called EAA by the locals) because it was the only thing I could find at a somewhat reasonable price. It was a very nice facility, and the commute wasn’t as bad as I imagined. I might have fit in better if wore a cheese hat and spoke about pharrking my cahr and coleming my heaarr. If you stay here you will not regret it."

"The place is an old rundown facility. But it was clean and the price was very low. The lady at the front desk was nice and accommodating. Would I stay there again ?. Probably. If you want fancy, this is not the place for you. But, you want acceptable at a good price this place certainly works."

"For many years I have driven past the Algoma beach motel. This is my first time staying at Algoma motel and I must say it was such a quiet, charming motel situated with the most beautiful location. Right on the beach with multiple pits for fires on the beach to make every night perfect. Amazing all around. The only thing I would add to help the facility, staff, or future goers is when the lake flys are out in force please provide more than a dollar store fly swatter. I understand there is nothing that can be done and it comes with the territory given the location but man do they really swarm and with a flimsy fly swatter you do feel kinda helpless."

"Lovely location! Listening to the water lap against the shore as we fell asleep was wonderful. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and seating area. Great water pressure in the shower! Wonderful breakfasts each morning. Enjoyed hearing the stories of the other guests and the hosts."

We had our wedding here and the location was absolutely perfect we had family stay on the property and was able to have a ceremony and reception all in one place!! The house, yard, pool, and other amenities were top tier. I also have to give a huge shout out to the host who had amazing communication and responded so quickly and helped in any way they could! We know that others will love this place as much as we did!!"
