The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was prepared by an exceptional chef. This is definitely an unforgettable experience to stay there with its close proximity to the Sky Road, Kylemore Abbey and Connemara national park."

"Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The lodge itself is exactly what you would expect in a natural Irish setting. The food was very good and the bar was cozy offering an opportunity to meet other guests. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Tom the bartender was a charm. They washed our clothes at no charge and returned them folded! Wish we could have stayed longer."
