"Host was delightful and helpful. Location was right on a beautiful lake/pond. It was a little chilly and the outdoor fire pit was great. The a/c heater inside worked great as did the hot water heater. The cabin was a little hard to find late at night but once we got help and went in/out it was no problem. Overall a very nice place for R&R for a few days!"

"The property was absolutely beautiful, with incredible views and perfect weather to enjoy it all. The nearby hiking was fantastic, and we had such a wonderful time. We especially loved the wood-burning fireplace in the cabin, and there was plenty of firewood to keep it going. It’s a truly special place, and the host was very accessible, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to return!"

"Paula's Pond House provides the perfect balance of being tucked away in a quiet corner of a pond - for those total peace and quiet unplugging days - and a rather easy, scenic drive to MDI, Schoodic Peninsula, and all the surrounding towns for exploring, shopping, and dining. We arrived expecting to be in Acadia most of the trip, but in the end the kayaks, firepit, hammock, and overall warmth of the place kept us close and content a lot more than planned - and we're very thankful for it!"

"Beautiful cabin, had trouble finding the lake. I had to ask someone on my walk where the lake was, definitely more than 5 minutes. We drove to the lake, very nice. The cabin was clean, one perk was the heated toilet seat. It was located a good hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia. I gave four stars for communication, I had asked , Susan a few questions and she never responded back. All the communication that I got was auto generated"

"Clean, nicely decorated, lovely views, cozy.No closets, no hangers for one rod, no hooks on doors. Be sure to bring your own Kleenex and bath soap, neither is provided. Carpet free floors were perfect for a pet. A cute mat and two dog bowls were waiting at the door – a nice touch.We would certainly return for the fall foliage alone."

"The property was as expected. The kitchen has utensils that we were able to use. We were able to cook. The lake is beautiful. They were paddle board and kayak and life jackets available and we're able to utilize them. They were lots if blankets available, The cabin is very clean. We encounter tiny mishaps which the host were promt at responding when we reached out. We would recommend this cabin to anyone."

"Nice new house that provided all the basic essentials. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a little difficulty with check in as the instructions were not accurate but we were able to contact someone and get a quick response. Loved that it was pet friendly so we could travel with our dogs."
