"Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lagoon rooms certainly need a bit of upgrade otherwise we had a great time at the resort."

"We had Villa 8 which was upstairs with two large bedrooms, good sized living, kitchen and bathroom and a return verandah. It was lovely being elevated and the area was a great size for us and our two adult boys, 21 and 24. The covered verandah made for even more space. It was great to have a BBQ on site and free use of laundry facilities. We loved being able to walk down to the beach so easily. The beach is stunning and often there was no one else on it. Very easy stroll down the beach to Black Rock. We did hire a car and the on-site parking was appreciated. Overall we thought Cooks Oasis was great value for money and suited our family really well."

"The room was right next to the most beautiful beach with fantastic snorkelling. The swimming pool was lovely and there was a swim-up bar where you could order drinks. I liked that guests could use The Rarotongan facilities too such as the pool, beach, activities hut and restaurant. There was a great selection of food available to eat during breakfast. The bus stop was right opposite the resort which was handy. I would still recommend hiring a car to get places quickly. My bedroom needed a drying rack and the tv sound was not the best, but it didn’t matter too much because I was out and about most of the day. The main thing I didn’t like was that the restaurant floor was sand - it would be much better if it was concreted and then tiled."

"The most stunning ocean views from the upstairs rooms, would be hard to beat, staff were friendly, the pool was great as were the cocktails and meals. Good location within walking distance to lots of restaurants, fabulous coffee at the container across the road. Complimentary breakfast was very basic, but adequate. Would we come here again, absolutely, this resort was lovely and quiet. PERFECT."
