Wonderful hotel

We loved this hotel, from the central location to the beautiful rooms and delicious breakfasts. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms a good size, along with well thought-out rooms. The staff, too, were friendly and so helpful. I hope to return and stay here.

Early room

We needed to attend a wedding and naturally wanted to change clothes but this was before the rooms were released. The personal was very helpful and got us a room ahead of time - even though the hotel was fully booked and there was still three hours to official time to get a room.

Good but not Great

Hotel is nicely located for the city centre and within walking distance of the railway station. Check in was quick but incredibly busy as there is a coffee shop right at reception and you have to walk through it to get to the reception desk and also a shopping area to the side of reception. The rooms are ok and the beds are comfortable. The decoration is a little tired in places but not too distracting. Overall it’s fine but not great and not sure the cost per night is with it. I would stay again but the cost would have to be lower to entice me back.

Lovely as always

We tried a superior room and we can say that we prefer the standard. Bed was too soft and also there were more sounds then when we had room with window not pointing to tori area. As always excellent staff and room was clean and well lit. We only had one hand towel but it was fine since we were only staying one night.

Lovely stay

The stay was great, it was our first time visiting since it opened. We were both very pleasantly surprised when we saw that there was a fridge which customers could fill themselves with whatever they find in the store downstairs. I think other hotels should have the same concept, since it makes the stay a lot more comfortable, knowing that there’s no need to pay too much for a small item.

Pretty comfy and neat, renovated hotel. Sauna was a bit disappointing since the heat was turned off too soon before closing time. Room had a pretty loud AC/vent that couldn’t be turned off.

The good: - Resolution for multiple issues were found, although it took too long and impacted our overall experience. - Nice roof-top bar with fantastic view The bad: - Market square in from of the hotel under uenovation, for few years to come! - We booked family room and got a second-class (non-renovated) room, with old bathroom and noisy air conditioning. I.e. some rooms granted for the same price in this hotel are not renovated. - Negotiated long and tedious with the staff who did not provide a suitable replacement room, essential facilities were missing. Left a little disappointed overall.

Fantastic rooms, terrible breakfast..

The hotel rooms were modern/trendy, clean and comfortable. Service at the reception was also very friendly and good. I definitely recommend sleeping here! However, the breakfast was unfortunately a dissapointment. We expected it to reflect the overall ambience of the hotel, but it was a basic continental breakfast you can find at any chain hotel, and not even the good kind. I would have expected to see more ecological and trendy products (müsli, selection of fruits and berries, eggs, cheese, meats). The eggs unfortunately were disgusting, both the boiled ones as well as the scrambled ones. Guest were allowed to seat themselves, which created slight chaos and uneven seating. One man dining alone was sitting at a table for 6pers, so we (4pers) had to eat at a sofa by the bar. Positive was that the hotel had dealt out timeslots for dining, to avoid rush hour, however, I’m skeptical as to how well guests abided them.

City Center location

Have stayed here before, a couple of times.. like the location, the restaurant is ok, breakfast is very nice, roof top bar also very nice. The parking is ok, but when the departmentstore is closed you have to walk all the way around outside with the luggage… not so convenient.. the rooms are ok, but a little boring and worn. Overall an ok hotell for a night. Staff nice and helpful.
