"Great place to stay in town! "

"The scenery, cabins and wildlife sightings were WELL worth the short but winding drive from town. Ranch/management staff we occasionally encountered were engaged and welcoming. The cabins were very clean. The “play area” is centrally located and was enjoyed by all ages."

"Great stay in Gatesville and definitely beats the hotels in the area. We stayed over Christmas and the host even put up a tree and decorated, which made spending Christmas away from home a little homier. Thanks!"

"The Cabin was as described and as it was online, very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a plus for sure. The next Cabin is a good distance away so privacy wasnt an issue. The only issue is that the train tracks actually run pretty close by, it gets really really loud when the trains pass by, if that bothers you, this is probably not the best place for you. Other than that, good spot for solitude and some quiet time. "

"Starry Creek Ranch was just perfect for a long holiday weekend with family. The house is newer, spacious, comfortable and a perfect layout for multiple families or groups staying together (two master suites, kids bedrooms, multiple bathrooms). The house itself far exceeded our expectations. The pool was a hit with the kids and provided relaxation for everyone. The views are spectacular and sunset is beautiful. The stars at night are also stunning. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond every morning and evening. We also loved the adventurous hike to find the Indian cavern — one of the highlights of our stay! This property is unique and the host has thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and memorable— we will be back! "
