"Overall, the stay was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent as well. The only things that this location may want to do is deep clean and reassemble/balance the bed frames. More specifically, the items that need cleaning in the room I was in (319): the 2 coffee stains on the carpet, the bathroom door and wall near the desk need wiping, the bathroom sink needs unclogging, the bed frame is not secured to the headboard (you can see scratch marks on the headboard), and the bed frame cover at the bottom is hanging to the floor."

"The house is a great place for a group gathering. What a calming view from a very nice enclosed elevated patio. Watching the barges was kind of fun. House is very functional and Kari is very responsive; before and during our stay. She has gr8 instructions on living there, options for local activities and eating places. We are talking of meeting there annually. Ty Kari!"

"The Barge Inn was exactly what our family needed for a weekend getaway. The river was great for boating, tubing, paddleboarding, fishing and swimming. Our family enjoyed some bucket golf on the lawn, the beautiful views and lots of space for everyone indoors. A gem of a spot—thanks for being a great host of this beautiful property!"

"This property is in an excellent location with much to do in a high density area. Restaraunts, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. Two grocery stores (Publix and Kroger) within a mile of the home. My favorite part of this property aside from the location was the Picture Frame TV! Lots of great art to enjoy during family conversations. The only minor issue is there were no hand towels in the master or kitchen so we had to use paper towels. Also would say there was limited kitchen serving dishes and bowls for salad etc.. Most guests may go out for meals due to many walkable options so its less of an issue. I highly recomend this property!"
The Riverside Retreat - Your Coastal Getaway

"This cozy house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The back deck and dock provided a pleasant variety of ways to enjoy the beautiful view of the river, even when we had a bit of rain during our stay. The house was well stocked for all our needs. The rooms were comfortable, with enough seating in the living room for the 4 adults and 1 child we had in our group. The kitchen, while small, had everything we needed to make our meals, and the propane grill outside added to our cooking options. The proximity to Prospect is reasonable - 10-15 minutes to Kroger and some local restaurants. We also spent a day in Louisville, which is less than 30 minutes away. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that if you're traveling with small children, the shower isn't ideal. It would be nice to have a detachable spray shower head to be a bit more accommodating. We improvised and made it work, but just be aware of that need if you plan to travel with kids. We'll definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip to the area, and would recommend to our friends."

"What an Awesome home to spend a week with a group or Team! Beautiful view and close to the Kentucky Expo. The home had amazing space to host a large group and full stocked kitchen to cook. The Host was so so gracious and wonderful. We 100% be returning with our team!"
