"We loved the gentle slope to the water. So gentle that the water was quite shallow. It was quiet enough for several deer sightings. Our host sent coffee filters! We felt secure. There were some issues with the A/C, even after the host assured us that it had just been serviced. It was resolved after about 4 hours. I think kids would like the game room."

"The property was very well equipped- especially the kitchen. There was a generous supply of towels annd linens for each bedroom and bathroom. There were also adequate beach towels for the lake. We had one issue related to cleaning that was quickly resolved by the owner and his cleaning staff. There were plenty of tables and chairs -both inside and on the covered front porch and deck outside. The dock was across the street and quite handy. There was more than adequate parking for several vehicles. In general, the property was as pictured and presented on VRBO. However, one of the bathrooms was a Jack and Jill configuration between two of the queen bedrooms. This configuration was a big surprise. The property worked well with The Villa next door that was occupied by other family members.The property is older and has its peculiar features - but it was enjoyed by our group of six adults and three girls (ages 11-15)."

"We loved this place. I took my daughter and 2 grandsons for a last outing before school and it didn't disappoint. The home was so clean and roomy. Nestled under several oak and black walnut trees (the 22-month old boy thought the walnuts were balls) makes it nice to sit outside without the sun bearing down on you. Easy entry and exit out of the property with a jet ski being pulled. A boat would work just fine. Sara is very prompt with communication, even when you get a little lost getting there (a bridge was unknowingly out on our original route). I most certainly would recommend this property for a quiet, comfortable stay by and awesome lake."

"Quiet lake view, gravel road, wildlife, shade trees--if this sounds good to you, this is the place. The studio apartment was clean, furnished with the necessities and some generous touches. The trade for the country calm is that restaurants and grocery stores are at least a 25-minute drive, so the standard-size refrigerator/freezer is a useful thing. The bed is very firm, the shower pressure is good, and the living room futon and chairs are comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We would stay here again."
