Friendly staff make this hotel which looks tired in places.

The room was nice but the heating was not working. I messaged the number on the door and they moved me to another room. They gave me a free upgrade for the trouble. Room was impeccable

On arrival my room wasn't ready. I had to wait about 45 mins, but they kindly added this time (and more) to my departure time, which was excellent service & much appreciated. I lived in Uckfield for 54 years before moving to Cornwall 3 years ago. Uckfield has gone down hill since we have left & is being spoilt by all the building going on around it.
