"Great hotel and a welcome tour down history.
Nice rooms, modern renovations and has everything needed inside rooms.
Luggage was carried up to room for me as staircases are quite narrow, but it's part of the old character of hotel and beautifully maintained.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect offering a quiet stay but near to pubs, villages and walks.The accommodation was first class offering everything we needed during our stay. Spotlessly clean on arrival and high quality fixtures and furnishings. "We spend a wonderful week in the well appointed White Rose Cottage. Our hosts Paul and Caroline were lovely and the cottage was well equipped for self catering. We enjoyed the most lovely views of the grounds and it’s a fabulous location for touring around Sussex and neighbouring counties. The local pub is a short walk away and is popular so it’s best to book a table. We would definitely return to this property if the opportunity arose in the future. "
