Only negative was the room air con - it was warm in the room and we could not get the temperature to drop so had to have it on full blast to feel any benefit. That was very noisy and at times it sounded like a dishwasher with water running through the system. "

"Good room for a brief stay overnight and proximity to Gatwick. The sink was blocked in the room. However, the restaurant was awful. The service was terrible, with our order forgotten, and took over 1 hour to come out. Drinks to over 20 minutes. When it did arrive, it was not the quality expected of a Marriott with the meat poor quality, the cesar salad full of mayonnaise. For two mains and two drinks it cost over £70. Do yourself a favour and avoid the restaurant"

"Had to exchange numerous e-mails with property to confirm availability and confirmation of adjoining rooms. There was NO housekeeping for the rooms over a 4 day stay, although request cards were left on the door. Had to go to the front desk to request clean towels, bed linens never changed. No refrigerator in room. Safe door was left open in locked position so safe could not be utilized. Interaction with front desk staff OK and accommodating. Breakfast buffet adequate."
