The staff were amazing! The breakfast was so good and we were looking forward to it every morning. Overall great service , probably the best hotel service I’ve received! I’m looking forward to my next stay! - Aldrin and Family
We had an incredible experience. The property is gorgeous, modern, clean and charming. The internal Japanese garden is a work of art. The staff is wonderful and always available to help. we decide to go back and bring our children with us next time.
The property is small and lovely. The juxtaposition of the noisy chaos of Tokyo, with this relaxing oasis was just what we needed. The staff were so helpful and communicative. The food was delicious and the private onsens were absolutely beautiful. There isn’t much to do in the area but we didn’t mind because the hotel itself is hard to leave.
This is the best place we've stayed during the trip. The lady who attends to us was super friendly and patience. The hospitality is PERFECT. Will go back again if possible.
Loved our stay here. We were a family of four, all adults. Very quiet and tranquil. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Their english is limited but we used Google Translate to communicate. We had a lovely time here and would definitely come back.
Stayed in the glamping tent with my family of four (including a 5 & 9 yr old). Such a wonderful spot - tent was comfy w/ a dedicated toilet/sink room in a separate adjacent little building. Had a wonderful fire pit which the staff lit for us in the evening at the time we requested (on our was back from dinner we texted them from their very helpful app). All amenities in the main building were super clean, very new, and meticulously curated in a minimalist style. It had (x3) private Onsen baths which had both an indoor and outdoor bath each that were GORGEOUS, private for our family's use, and we never had to wait (but you could check their availability with the nifty app). The Japanese breakfast was delish, but didn't get an opportunity to try the dinner. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful - did not speak English all that well but were super adept with their translating app to the point of holding friendly conversations well beyond the minimum required communication. The hotel was tucked in a side street that had an old temple ruin at the end which felt very special. Was such a lovely refuge after spending a week in bustling Tokyo, and an easy trip on the shinkansen to Ueda. We decided to stay an extra night to fully appreciate all this wonderful spot had to offer. Highly recommended!
Amazing stay for my birthday with my gf. It was so nice to have a quiet place to stay with 3 private baths. They were so beautiful and relaxing to use (even at 2am xD). Hiriko (hopefully i spelt that write :/) was amazing and was around to help when needed. They even got someone to pop over and collect our luggage. Food was amazing too. Will definetly be coming back next year.
Can’t rave enough. Wanted a private onsen experience and they were phenomenal. Free laundry is very welcome for wary travelers. The welcome tea and sweet treat were delightful!
Sehr gepflegtes Ryokan mit hübschem Zimmer, feinem Frühstück und sehr zuvorkommendem Personal. Die privat benutzbaren Onsen sind in eine elegante Gartengestaltung eingebettet.
