He offered to have our rental car company call him, since our Italian is terrible and we didn’t know where we were! "Cannedi Farms was a wonderful oasis right in the middle of the city of Avetrana. The place looks to have been completely remodeled and its gorgeous! Beautiful high ceilings, modern appliances and a killer roofdeck with wet bar and outdoor shower. They have fruit tress in the back courtyard which assures you have fresh fruit daily and they also make amazing Olive Oil. "This Masseria ticked every box for us, we felt so relaxed & at home there, we barely left it in 3 days. The staff were so friendly & relaxed, the atmosphere was very homely, the pool & spa were lovely. It’s a special place, unpretentious, authentic & very comfortable. Would love to visit again. "

Nicole and Sara were incredibly kind and couldn't do enough to help us with info on places to visit and otherwise. "A very clean, tidy and comfortable 3 star hotel that I surmise is family owned and possibly operated. I stayed out of season in April and it was very quiet. The breakfast is continental: mini croissants and viennoiserie ( chocolate and fruits), chocolate biscuits, fruit juices, cappuccino, espresso, cakes, tarts and tiny packs of Italian toast to enjoy with excellent butter and jams.
