Arrived earlier than expected, helpful lady on reception allowed us to check in early. Conveniently placed to walk into the city with easy motorway access when it is time to go. Have stayed a few times now and never disappointed

The staff were helpful, breakfast excellent The bed was comfortable and given the age understandable the lack of AC Overall we enjoyed our stay The room however does show its age

Nice hotel, local to the city centre and nearby to lovely buildings and landmarks .

Impressive building with lovely grounds; however unfortunately our room did not live up to the same standard with wine bottles & beer cans left at the door on entry, along with the odour from the previous guests takeaway. Thankfully the staff were able to accommodate a different room for our stay, but it is worth noting the rooms both shared a rather tired appearance and we left a little deflated bearing in mind the room rate.

This hotel is ideal for a short stay and is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station.
