Luxury Cabin with Hot Tub Spa adjacent to 16,000 Acres of Gamelands

Looking for a private, rustic luxury guest experience? Look no further Whiskey Rock Cabin is your ultimate getaway. This tucked away cabin that sits on 10 acres of PA Wilds is set in the middle of 16,000 acres of PA State Gamelands #51. Hike, hunt or explore directly from the cabin--just be sure to leave with a map and compass as you embark on any excursion. When you return, enjoy the sunset on the oversized covered patio on the front or large side patio with picnic table, hot tub and outdoor seating. Inside the cabin has all the luxury that you want for a cozy getaway. Enjoy the floor to ceiling gas fireplace, in-floor heat, Flat Screen TV and Satellite Internet (DATA rules apply).

**IMPORTANT CONNECTIVITY INFORMATION**

• Cell phone service (all major carriers) is almost non-existent at the property; however, Wi-Fi Internet is available.

• Internet is a data use based plan which is only intended for light browsing (searching for local attractions, booking reservations, checking/sending email, contacting TLVR representatives...etc.).

• No video or audio streaming is allowed by guests, which consumes data quickly.

• For those who need to work or do school work while staying at Whiskey Rock Cabin, we offer the option to purchase GB's of data. Ask our sales team for more details.

Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2900 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from November 1-March 31. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

Security:

For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

We loved this place. Perfect for our anniversary get away. Nice finishes, private, and very quiet. Hot tub is right outside the patio doors. Not far from Ohiopyle. You pass a Frank Lloyd Wright home on the way. Exactly what we were looking for.

This property is such a zen escape. The location is very close to OhioPyle and a fantastic getaway for our family! The wind chimes were so enjoyable. The home is updated and beds were comfortable. We will be staying again!!!!

We did enjoy our weekend stay at Whiskey Rock. Everything about the cabin matched the listing and found it to be clean and cozy. We had picked it due to the proximity to Ohiopyle where our son is currently living and it allowed him to visit rather easily I would recommend it to others!

My wife and I spend our anniversary weekend at the Whiskey Rock Cabin. The place was immaculate and really quite perfect for us. Property manager was kind and on point setting up the hot tub for us. Close to Ohiopyle and Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Great getaway. We highly recommend it!

Peaceful and Beautiful stay at Whiskey Rock Cabin

Our stay at Whiskey Rock was better than great it was fantastic! Such a secluded, peaceful, and beautiful cabin. It was perfect for my family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! The cabin has everything you need, my kids loved the open property and the upstairs. It was amazing. While we were there we visited the Laurel Caverns and the Natural Water slides. Everything is within a 30 min drive. We are already planning for our trip next year. Highly recommend Whiskey Rock Cabin.

This cabin is as advertised

We had a great 2 night, 3 day stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything listed is completely accurate, the cabin is appointed very nicely from the towels to the kitchen appliances- there is nothing cheap. Hot tub was easy to operate and a nice feature to use while we endured the 8” of snow for the weekend. We suggest packing food for your stay as local stores are about a 30 minute drive, we knew that and prepared - frankly that’s what makes this place so nice is its location and isolation.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is beautiful. Perfect for my kids and I. Only one small problem. In the loft the is insulation coming out if the ceiling like snow the whole time we were there. I felt bad when we left because I left the one comforter on the bed because it was cover and I didn’t want to carry it to the laundry area. Once this issue is corrected this for be a 10/10 for me!!!

Best kept secret I don't want to tell you about

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Modern, cozy, secluded, quiet and relaxing. We wanted to disconnect from the noise and rush of our daily lives and this was the answer!The cabin was super clean, the hot tub well maintained and the kitchen well stocked (crockpot, blender, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, etc.). The bed was super comfortable, blankets were a plenty, and there was more than enough room for the two of us to enjoy.When the listing says AWD or 4x4 is required, believe it. We woke up to a blizzard warning on check-out day and wouldn't have made it out without 4-wheel drive. When we needed an extra hour at checkout to let the storm calm down, the hosts were quick to reply and more than understanding.When the listing says cell coverage is pretty much non-existent, believe it. And that's exactly what we were looking for. We did have access to the cabin's internet via Wi-Fi which was perfect for quick searches or checking in with family.We will definitely be back!

The cabin and location were excellent. Everything you need is in the cabin and all finishing are high end and beautiful. The private location is perfect for enjoying the rocking chairs on the front porch, relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit. Also, very close to Ohiopyle State Park for those who want to enjoy the Great Allegheny Passage! We will definilety be back!

Great place to get away

Great place. Exactly what we were looking for. The loft was great for my two kids. Was close to Ohiopyle, which was great. If you have Verizon, don’t plan on having a phone signal but that didn’t matter to us.

Excellent! Check in very easy and good instructions. House was very clean and well maintained. Very nice that it was just a clean smell and not filled with air fresheners or plug ins that are sometimes overpowering for people with allergies. Perfect set up for 4 people.
