"We had a great stay at Poplar House. We opted for a two bedroom unit and it was fantastic. Just enough space, a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer (they provided laundry pods), and a dishwasher (they also provided dishwasher pods!). Literally every single thing that we could think of was provided for us. The rooms were spotless. Bathrooms were also impeccably clean. Xavier was communicative and quick to respond, and he helped us figure out how to check in because the door to the building is sort of in a weird area. The convenience of this place is truly unmatched— seriously, it was nicer than a lot of hotels that I’ve stayed in. I’ll admit that I had some worries based on other reviews that I saw before coming, and I’m glad that I didn’t pay them much mind. We had a great stay and I can't wait to come back."

"Went for a concert. Won't go again. Average room with mediocre amenities, pod maker was functional but only given 1 regular and 1 decaf for 2 people. Had to watch a video to use fridge as they stocked the fridge, we only wanted to put waters in to keep them cold. Not worth it."

"Two issues: hot water was not all that hot and the building fire alarm was having issues - it went off a 1AM when I was staying and the strobe light in my bathroom didn’t stop flashing until 8 AM. Fortunately maintenance disconnected the strobe in my room so I could sleep. I overheard the fire department say this was the 25th time they had been called to the property in 2026 on false alarms. This needs resolved "
