Recently stayed at Algonquin Park for my last camping spot of the season. Staying at the pet friendly Lake of Two Rivers campground, you can expect to see anything from Geese, Bear, Moose, Wolves, Skunks and more. The campground is central of all that Algonquin has to offer such as the numerous lakes to portage, or trails to hike. The campground is also equip with laundry facilities for when your tent gets rained out (like mine did), washroom and showers. End of September and Early October is when you can expect a lot of traffic as that's when the 'Leafers" come up (those whose purpose is to view the brilliant fall leaves in the park). The best trail to view these leaves is the Lookout Point. Expect steep inclines and declines and rated as an intermediate trail with a distance of 2KM round trip (30 min).

Very noisy. Stairs are old and sound insulation in hallways is poor. Could hear children and adults walking around above my room to all hours of the night . No elevator hence two flights of very noisy stairs . It’s like staying in an old rickety house with no insulation .

We had a really nice time at the treehouse. Location was great. House was super cozy and came with little extras like popcorn, nice toiletries, night lights and micro spikes for walking. The kitchen was well stocked.
