"The location was in a small alpine village with stunning views. There were walks from the door and easy access to cable cars for mountain walks and lakes. The hotel was immaculate and inkeeping with local tradition. The service was excellent and staff went above and beyond, even providing us with a breakfast bag on our departure day. There is a restaurant on site which served traditional german food which again was amazing."

Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden

10/10 Excellent

"Everything about this hotel was phenomenal! The beautiful views were everywhere you looked. There was an overall peacefulness throughout. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well."

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Berchtesgaden

10/10 Excellent

"Great location and the property was clean and well laid out. Convenient parking just accross the street and lots of restuarants within walking distance."

Hotel Alpina Ros Demming

8/10 Good

"We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must."

Hotel Schwabenwirt

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were very friendly and helpful during our visit. The breakfast is good with many selections and many seating areas. Parking is easy in front of the hotel. We will definitely visit again."

Yachthotel Chiemsee

8/10 Good

"Breakfast wasn't memorable but adequate. Disappointed in the food and prices at Blu. Never bothered to eat at the other one because Blu was so underwhelming. Location is nice, staff is great, property is well maintained. Sauna area is too small. Parking was very frustrating as there is very little by the door in the front lot and the only other options are further up and down steep grades"

Alpenhotel Brennerbascht

10/10 Excellent

"Great location. Very good and extensive breakfast. Fresh fruit, various juices and great coffee options. Great Bavarian restaurant with beergarden next door. Our rooms had balconies and we saw mountain tops. Friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms."

Amber Hotel Bavaria

10/10 Excellent

"This was a great place to stay and enjoy the Bavarian Alps views. We truly enjoyed the town and resort. They were a very professional staff and great atmosphere."
