"The arrival instructions need to change. There is a much easier way to get to the address. Also didnt know about the gate house, stumbled apon that after getting lost in the park. We checked in with the guard. The contact ended up having to come drive us to the cabin because we couldnt find it. The cabin was nice, comfy, clean. Had all items you need. Didnt give it an excellent rating due to instructions. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out."

"This place was exactly what we needed and honestly much more than we expected! Incredibly clean. Super spacious for the actual square footage. Wonderful outdoor spaces. Completely stocked everything you need. And Scott was a great host! He even made personal phone call to help us with a quick question. Highly recommend!"

"This was a very enjoyable stay with our children and grandchildren so many fun things to do ! The weather and the air was so refreshing We enjoyed activities at all three rivers and also enjoyed time around the bonfire outside of home and enjoying good meals together !"

"We had the best time and had a great stay at Jack Bear's cabin!! This cabin is so cute and quaint and exactly what my little family of 4 needed for our stay in Blue Ridge!! The cabin is so clean and looks just as pictured! We didn't realize though how far back in the woods the cabin was, and how the road leading to it would be. Just be prepared to go through a tiny gravel mountain road with lots of hills, twist and turns. And while this cabin is great and perfect, you have to allow at least 20-30 minutes from it to get anywhere in Blue Ridge or to do any of the activities around the area. Everything is just so spread out!! We did try to find the trail that is talked about in the listing to get to the river for our kids to play but it was not clearly marked at all and so we didn't get to play much around our cabin like we thought we would. They need to clearly mark a trail to hike to get to the river because it isn't far at all from the cabin it's just not a great walk if you try and find it. We would definitely stay here again but also wouldn't mind staying somewhere closer to town and more on the river for kids to play!!"

"This house was perfect for our family, the basement was a great hangout for the kids! The only negative was we could never get the fireplace working, and the kitchen could have used more silverware and cooking pans for pizza etc. A great vacation had by all for sure!"
