"The host was very welcoming and friendly. Love the area. Very secluded and quiet. The Iron Bridge Cafe has amazing breakfast and the restaurant down the street is amazing. Was absolutely perfect for me and my wife ! "

"Phenomenal stay! The hosts were very welcoming and had everything set up as said in our welcome email. The place has instructions for everything and was extrememly user-friendly. Actually very eaay to get to the cabin. We drove a minivan up to it and had no issues on road. The windows in thia place are set up awesome and the sunset was crazy! Would definitely stay here again if we decide to visit Blue Ridge. It was also very close to Helen and a lot of cool hidden stops along the way."

"We stayed for a week and a half from Christmas through the New Year and we cannot recommend this place enough! From the 81 steps it was the perfect stay for us and our pups! The fireplace in the house was gorgeous and it was nice overlooking the River everything morning and being so close for a cozy afternoon by it with a fire! Highly recommend :) the beautiful kitchen and porch were great for nights to stay in and cook at home!"

"Castaway Cabin was an amazing location and had everything you could want for a comfortable getaway. We could not have been more thrilled with cabin and all the amenities. To top it off, Rick and Janet are amazing hosts. Such great hospitality during our stay and communication before our arrival was perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the Blue Ridge area, especially if you are interested in fishing."
