"Rooms are clean, grounds are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a bit dated."

The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark

"This resort is a great alternative to Kalahari for families with kids under 7 or 8. The indoor waterpark is the perfect size for younger children and much less overwhelming. The accommodations were decent—nothing amazing, but completely fine for a family stay.The biggest downside was the food. The dining options inside the resort were incredibly limited, possibly due to the July 4th holiday weekend. To make matters worse, there wasn't much to eat outside the resort area either. It is a wonderful spot for the kids to swim, but you should definitely pack your own food and snacks if you stay here."

"My day was great roughly around 6 PM is when lobby and foot traffic got very busy. I would say it wasn’t fully staffed due to it only being less than three people upfront not sure if that’s normal but they definitely met. Everyone needs a goddamn checked in and or helped them with the shuttle. Bell service was great. I am from down south and I could say this was good hospitality from New Yorkers."

"The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. It would be nice to be able to use streaming services on tv. We were there on 7/2 and the on property fireworks show was incredible! We ate at the cafe and coffee shop. The cafe service was a bit slow and the food was okay. The coffee shop had many options for baked goods. I have stayed here before and would stay again!"

"Would recommend to have a couple generalized seating areas to sit with family outside of restaurants. Wanted to play a game with our kids but there was no where to sit outside of the pool area but kids weren’t allowed in pool area due to adult only hours. Staff stated they had no other areas that we could go."
