"This boutique hotel was a wonderful place to stay and great choice for a relaxing trip! Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There is a small on-site shop, and the owner and her mother were especially kind and attentive, which added a very personal touch to the experience. Location: The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Puerto Plata airport, which made arrival and departure very easy. It also has a parking lot. It's within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The area felt very safe, we never experienced any issues, and there was a visible presence of military police, who were always friendly. Room: Our room was quite spacious and comfortably accommodated 4 of us, with a king-size bed and twin- trundle, along with a dining table and large refrigerator. While everything was comfortable a few small updates (such as touch ups in the bathroom and replacing hangers) would make the space even better. But these were minor and did not impact our overall comfort. Overall: This is a great option for families, couples or even singles. The property has direct beach access, just past the pool and beautiful lounge area, which was the highlight. Their on-site restaurant (available as an all- inclusive option) has a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its an open-air provides beautiful and calming views of the beach and nearby cliffs, making this stay even more enjoyable. We would recommend!"

"Well we waited for the room for 4 hours and was given the wrong type of room. The next day I got had food poisoning from the Horrible buffet. There might be several different restaurants but you wont be able to reserve any of them as they don’t tell you beforehand. Food horrible all tasted terrible, do not recommend ever"

"The staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The included breakfast was a nice addition and the hotel is right in the heart of the town. Everything that matters is within walking distance. My only complaint was that I did not get the room that I thought I selected on Expedia. When I spoke to the hotel owner he explained to me that they are a Boutique hotel and that the images are merely a representation of what you can expect. I also could not get the smart t.v. to work consistently or connect to the wi-fi. I suspect that this was an issue due to the constant need to replace the key card in order to receive power to the room. In all fairness, I did not bother to bring this issue to the attention of the hotel as I did not want to be bothered. I also could not stand the mini-bar that was stocked with overpriced snacks and liquor. It would be nice if they could simply remove the mini bar items, but I was told to place them in the closet instead. I did not want to be charged $3 per beer. "

"Small, older motel-style hotel with bar/restaurant on site. In the restaurant the staff were very kind, attentive and helpful (The steak was great and drinks were good). Discovered Cockroach infestation (multiple sizes) in our room (kitchen). Owner was extremely belligerent and combative, refused any resolution including denying checkout receipt.
