This is the most beautiful little spot, what a gem! I will return again when I can. It has beautiful and tranquil gardens and grounds. The hotel is quaint, rustic, quiet and small, only a handful of rooms, with personal English speaking staff and superior service. The on-site restaurant is 5 star with an exceptional atmosphere. I will be returning on my next trip to Urubamba.
It was a such lovely stay! The hotel is very very very beautiful! The food from the restaurant is delicious! The breakfast was also extremely delicious! Everybody in the hotel was extremely friendly and I’ll for sure stay here again as soon as I get another chance!
Room was clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Met a wonderful kind young woman named Ruth, who made our experience wonderful. She helped us select a delicious local wine. Jonathan, our host was very accommodating and helped us get settled. Had a wonderful bonfire outside too! We drove and were able to park on site. (Not very good signage to locate entrance, but we found it.) Could hear dogs barking during the night.

- Restaurant at the site
- Plants and vegetation at the sight. Feels like an amazing garden. It has a character.
Didn't Like
- Room floor seems dirty. It might be with the tiles structure they have. With allergies expecting better inside floor cleanliness

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We booked this hotel as it was a higher end luxury hotel and hence didn’t mind paying twice as much as the other hotels in the Sacred Valley. The gardens were beautiful and the exterior is cool, staff was friendly, nice big comfy bed and the dinner food was tasty.
Drawbacks were that it didn’t really feel as nice as we expected for the price. It’s quite old (not in a charming way), the cold water suddenly cut while showering scolding me, the toilet stopped flushing (no, we didn’t clog it :p), the window in the roof is a nice detail in the daytime, but means a light will shine in your face from 5:30AM, the dinner food was good but extortionate in comparison to other nice restaurants in the area (with a baby and the hotel being in the middle of nowhere, we couldn’t go other places for dinner, so we were essentially in a captive market paying a lot for the food), breakfast was mostly cold continental with an offering of fried or scrambled eggs (again, very sub-par for the hotel price), all of the luxury elements were also really expensive (getting a massage, yoga session, using the jacuzzi - spa should have been included) and booking a taxi through them cost way more than Uber or negotiating with a local taxi.
All in all, delicious dinner food and super friendly staff with lovely gardens, but very expensive for what you get and it needs some maintenance and improvements on the included offerings.
Breakfast was sparse. Television didn’t work. Safe was locked before we arrived bed was good. Laundry was expensive. Clothes were returned damp. We did not advise management so they had no opportunity to correct wrongs
Great place to stay. I love how the hotel is modern and traditional at the same time. You need transfers to get around, which may get expensive, but the hotel experience was amazing.
This is a great place to relax and get acclimated to the high altitudes before going to Machupichuu or returning to Cusco. We stayed here for a night.
The food at the restaurant is not local peruvian cuisine, but is not something to miss bcause it was really delicious. They also have a bar where you can order some nice cocktails.
We had a short but wonderful stay here.
