A special place to rest after The Inca trail. Surrounded by beautiful views, and lovely flowers blooming added to the atmosphere of tranquility. The breakfast was delicious with much to choose from. Checking in and out was simple and the staff was helpful guiding us to our next destination.

We stayed seven nights at Tierra Viva and it was the perfect base for exploring the Sacred Valley. The property is beautiful and serene, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Our spacious room was comfortable, though standard rooms don’t include a fridge. Interestingly, the standard rooms actually seemed nicer than the superior rooms, so don’t feel you need to upgrade. The complimentary à la carte breakfast options were a lovely touch. In the evenings, the hotel lights the fireplace around 19:00 and sells marshmallows to roast, which became a charming nightly ritual. The spa is well equipped with a jacuzzi, steam room, and finnish sauna, though access must be booked in advance and isn’t included. We also loved the touchless water bottle refill station. The road from the main road to the hotel is quite bumpy, so don’t be alarmed. Uber is unreliable in this area, with drivers frequently not showing up. We nearly missed our train to Machu Picchu, but the receptionist saved us by booking a taxi. Tips: ask the hotel to arrange transfers and activities, or use Taxidatum, which is fair priced and trustworthy. For llamas and alpacas, take a taxi to Mountain View Experience for lunch. Tierra Viva is the best value in the region. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and they charge 45soles for a cab. There were dozens of bugs in our room at night. We got massages that were not worth the money. We chose to leave a day early and they refused to refund us for the next night.

L’hôtel est parfaitement situé dans un site un peu reculé, et incroyable. Tout est parfait. Le personnel est aux petits soins, parfaitement poli, parfaitement anglophone. Le petit déjeuner est gigantesque et délicieux. Le spa est super. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propre, tout y est. Il n’y a vraiment rien à redire. Nous avons fait plus de 15 hôtels au Pérou, et celui-là surpasse largement tous les autres. On est dans un hôtel de super qualité occidentale, pour un prix très raisonnable.

El ingreso al hotel esta alejado de la avenida(feo, todo oscuro de noche y parece peligroso), si llegas de noche tienes que tener cuidado; yo llegue de noche y solicite apoyo del personal de recepcion del hotel y nunca llego; al final tuve que ir solo hasta la puerta del hotel. el cuarto es muy bonito pero no trae todo lo que menciona en su nota de ingreso(falto la bata), su bañera es muy resbaladiza, tiene que tener cuidado se recomienda que pongan algun jebe o sueño plastico antideslizante.
