"This was our third time staying at the river life property and it was yet another beautiful stay. We have to travel to Vermont every year to drop off/pick up our daughter from camp and always make sure to book a stay here! I want to highlight how much is really provided for you at these cabins. From Inside to out it is thoughtfully stocked, weather you need a couples vacation, time with family, or like us some place beautiful and easy to stay during a long road trip. Inside they leave many nice welcome baskets and gifts, even some treats for the pups! Forget a lantern? Don't worry there's one provided! Multiple ways to make coffee, even a stack of filters. Need fire wood? They provided a complimentary bundle and they have plenty for sale a quick few steps from the cabin. They provided every basic kitchen and bathroom item, which makes it so nice on being able to pack light for the stay. The property it's self is just perfect! Games galore in the recreational area next to the river. They expanded the trails since we were last year giving lots of places to explore the rivers edge and take a leisurely morning walk with the pups. The addition of the hots tubs was a great touch, especially for those of us that spent a lot of time in the car during our stay!! Thank you again! We will be back next year!"

"Home and hosts were amazing. Everything was immaculate and tons of extras. Hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything for an amazing vacation on the lake, including allowing us to use their private kayak. We had an amazing time, thank you!"

"The Pulpit House is a fun and unique place to stay for any reason. We thoroughly enjoyed the church motif and ample ample space being on the ground floor of an old Methodist church; it was very peaceful. This is one of the best appointed rentals I've been in. The rental includes a pool table, darts, books, games, smart tv for easy streaming, commercial kitchen, coffee and espresso makers, milkshake machines (I think), as well as towels, all linens and basic toiletries. We had fun passing the night with pool and darts. There's even an outside sitting area we enjoyed on a cool evening. The location is most convenient with 2 restaurants in walking distance and a Stewart's across the street. Amsterdam's main drag is only 2 miles away for additional dining and shopping. Overall, staying at the Pulpit House is an intriguing and memorable experience. You even get to visit the upstairs with the old times organ pipes and beautiful stained glass windows. One word of caution-the Pulpit House is next to a fire house so if there is an incident, the very loud siren blows. We had that happen at 4:15 AM. We just looked outside and went back to bed. Just wanted to share it can happen and it in no way marred our experience. I would love the chance to stay again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. The place was clean, comfy and well stocked. We really appreciated the fruit basket and all the other extras. Tony was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. The lake and surrounding area was so peaceful and the sunsets were beautiful. Hope to stay here again."
