It was our second year in a row visiting this hotel - 2 adults and a 4 year old. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on the top floor with lovely sea views. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially with children. The hotel is in a lovely quiet safe area but just a short taxi ride to the busy marina. The new fountains were a lovely addition. The hotel is very clean. The rooms a little bit dated but it didn't bother us, once they were clean.

This was a beautiful stay with staff who gave us excellent service and accomodation which was clean, very comfortable and well maintained. This was the perfect break for us, giving luxury, tranquility and lovely visual aspects. The grounds are landscaped and you can walk down to the beach through the pine trees. Pure joy!

"I chose this hotel for trhe spa, but the first Sunday 21st september, it wasn't working and when I could finally go, I was told that from 5 Pm I had to pay while payment by hotel guests was not mentioned anywhere. But, all in all, I enjoyed my stay."

"Hotel Don Rodrigues is a great hotel just outside Tavira. It’s a 15 min walk into town but you do need to cross and walk alongside a busy road. Bolt taxis into town were about €3.50.
