LOFT UNDER HOUSING CENTER OF VALENCIA- CIUTAT VELLA

  • Located in the historic center of Valencia is the life house of Blessed Gaspa de Bono, under 40m2 loft. Restored in December 2016 (mosaic floor and wooden beams).
    The apartment is accessed directly from a pedestrian street, with independent entrance. Very quiet street without noise, it is the only street in the center of Valencia pedestrian with buildings of 3 heights.
    You will be like in a town house within the city center.
    Perfect accommodation for 2 people and 2 companions (the loft is 40m)
    It has a double bed and a double sofa bed,
    The house has a small dressing room.
    Fully equipped kitchen: microwave, hob, washing machine, kitchen utensils, television, wifi and bathroom with shower.
    The guest has towels and bed linen.
    It is located in the area called "Ciutat Vella" of Valencia. The towers of Quart are only 1 minute walk away, Central Market, town hall square, virgin square 5 minutes away. Guests can find a wide variety of places to eat, dine and have a drink.
    Bicycles can be stored inside the house or parked at the door since being a low-dwelling, in a pedestrian street, there is no problem.
    From January to May 2017 we have had more than 20 guests, having a very good opinion of the loft, what stands out is the tranquility of the street and how central it is.
    A 10 minute walk you have a low cost garage of € 3 / day.

Bright Quiet Central Location

Well equiped bachlor suite (no separate bedroom). Surprisingly bright interior and super quiet. Has everything however, I could not get the washer to function ( received no response to my questions)

The location was excellent! It was very close to all the main points of interest yet was at the end of a very quiet street. It was very quiet throughout the late evening and night. The washing machine worked well and there was a drying rack. The shower worked very well. It’s far from luxurious but works well with the exception of the bed squeezed into too small an area

The property has everything you need and in an ideal spot in the old town. Just note there is no on-site or on street parking if you need that.

Lots of eating/drinking close by at good prices. Internet details on email were incorrect but a message to owner and someone knocked on our door to help straight away. Google maps finds the area difficult. We did drive down a pedestrian only street one day. At booking the checkout time was 11am but we were asked to leave at 10am. I didnt think that this was appropriate.

The property was fine. A few recommendations I will make are you get darker curtains rather than the current white see through ones. I did not enjoy using the bathroom while 10 men congregated right outside the window and can see through the curtains!! Another piece of advice is to get a better lock for the front door, one that isn’t so difficult to lock and unlock. It appears that a group of 8-10 men have a regular evening meet up just outside the studio every evening sometimes late into the night. So make sure to wear earplugs for a quiet sleepThe person doing the communicating does not like feedback so they may just ignore these recommendations and that’s ok.

Stayed at this property for 4 days. Positives - The flat is down a quiet lane, very good location, just a few minutes walk away from the market. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by and walkable to anywhere in Valencia . Everything available to make/reheat a meal ,large fridge and freezer. TV with Netflix app, small table for eating, one double bed & one pull down sofa. Bed was comfy, sofa not as comfortable. Positives - price , location, facilities, quick reply from host Negatives- key code suppled by host was incorrect, had to contact them to ask for code. Lucky it wasn't late at night Main complaint was SMELL IN BATHROOM. Noticed it first couple of days (was tolerable but was I was not there much). By the last day the smell actually stooped me sleeping and felt sick. Even closing the bathroom door didn't stop it. There was at least 6 reed diffusers in a small flat (thought that was strange at the time!?). I used a whole can of air freshener to try and mask the smell. I would like to add I travel in Spain a lot and am well aware of the sewerage system there. However, the smell was not in the lane just the flat? I made the host aware when I checked out, don't think they believed me? Oh and there was a dog that barked very early in the morning and very late at night & noisy neighbours in flat above. I also didn't find the flat clean enough for paid guests. Suppose you get what you pay for ? I very rarely leave a bad review but felt I had to be truthful.

Een leuke appartementje voor 2 personen op de begane grond. Leuk straatje in het historische centrum van Valencia. Van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals wasmachine (fijn als het heel warm is, kan je 's avonds je vieze kleren even wassen}, airco {bij temperaturen van boven de 30 graden, niet te versmaden), droogrekje, extra handdoeken en badlakens, magnetron, rol keukenpapier, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster, tosti-ijzer enz. enz.. Het centrum op loopafstand. Bushalte dichtbij, metro 10 min. lopen. Perfect voor een verblijf van een aantal dagen om deze mooie stad te bezoeken. Met de bus is het strand makkelijk te bereiken.

Zum übernachten reicht es. Aber die sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten nur eine halbe rolle klopapier für 5 tage. Sehr stickig. Hatten eine schabe in der küche. Aus dem abfluss hat es rund um die uhr gestunken. Die lage ist allerdings super gewesen, alles was man braucht + sehenwürdigkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen.

Una verguenza

Una verguenza de principio a fin, el apartamento estaba lleno de insectos, moscas de las que acuden a la basura ( las paredes estaban llenas) y cucarachas, había un olor a humedad que no se podía ni respirar, tuvimos que comprar nosotros un ambientador para poder intentar estar en el "apartamento" por llamarlo de alguna forma. El sitio estaba sucisimo con pelusas por todos lados y el baño con moho y super sucio, encima nos echaban a las 10 por qué tenían que limpiar para la siguiente visita....dudo que tardas en más de 5 minutos en "limpiar" ese apartamento. No nos dejaron ni jabón de manos ni Fairy para poder fregar los platos que habíamos usado. La puerta del baño inexistente, era corredera y estaba descolgada del rail por lo que no había puerta del baño. A todo esto reclamamos a vrbo y la ayuda ha sido nula, su solución que llamáramos al casero....no se hacen cargo de nada después de alquilar viviendas en las que no se puede habitar por razones de salud y sacar beneficio de ello ( y no poco por qué l piso era carísimo), su única solución es que llames tú al propietario y te pelees con el, un propietaria al que obviamente le da igual lo que le cuentes ya que él ya ha cobrado con antelación la estancia. Total una auténtica vergüenza y estafa.

Una cosa es lo que ves en las fotografías y la descripción del anuncio del loft y otra la realidad que te encuentras. En positivo...la limpieza, la comodidad de la cama, la ubicación es muy buena y la calle es tal y cómo la describen, calle peatonal tipo pueblo con sus plantas, etc.. En negativo el olor a cloaca (desagüe) que hay en el alojamiento. Y no es cuestión de ventilación cómo nos dijo el dueño. Puede que el olor venga de las mismas tapas de la calle ya que el alojamiento es un bajos, hasta había moscas típicas de las cloacas. Otro punto negativo es el aparcamiento, no hay un garaje a 10 minutos andando y a 3€ al día, al menos a nosotros nos dijo de aparcar en una calle donde te pueden multar....Este tipo de alojamiento es ideal para ir sin coche. Por parte del propietario sólo recibimos un mensaje para confirmar la hora de llegada y al no haber nadie lo tuvimos que llamar para indicarnos cómo entrar al alojamiento y dónde poder aparcar. Luego le mandamos WhatsApp preguntando y no recibimos respuesta. Nos fuimos tal y cómo llegamos. Sin comunicación por parte de los propietarios. Si solucionan el problema del olor (viene de la calle) es un alojamiento ideal. Es la 1ª vez que valoramos en negativo

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecto. No hemos tenido ningun problema. El apartemento está muy limpio. La ubicación es muy central y a 10 minutos andando del centro. Ha sido un placer pasar una semana en el apartmento.

Simple but complete

Located in the historic district at the end of an alley. Easy walk to seemingly everywhere. The place is small, sparse but with everything a couple needs to enjoy Valencia. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom. Didn't cook but the kitchen had all the equipment to make any meal. The clothes washer worked perfectly. Also as it is on an alley the place is quiet! The neighbors are mostly older and very friendly. Would stay again.

O apartamento é muito bem localizado e confortável. A anfitriã foi muito gentil e solícita. Só tive um problema com a internet que não consegui conectar, não aparecia para mim em nenhum dos meus aparelhos, do restante a localização é ótima, perto do todos os pontos turístico e a região é cheia de bares e restaurantes, o que não afeta a tranquilidade do imóvel, pois o apartamento fica no final de uma rua que é distante da agitação.
