"Cleaner was nice doing a good job , bar and restaurant closed , outside areas were a mess grass hadn't been cut this year the decking on the lawn was ready to fall down the room was ok ,dated bathroom, bath panel was ready to fall off and to top it all off there was no heating or hot water."

"Lodge was a lovely size, couches could do with replacing and the bed we had was very creeky. Fridge needed a good clean but staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Beautiful lodge, beautiful location, home from home, had absolutely everything we could need & more! Communication with the host was spot on too, friendly & prompt. Welcome hamper with some goodies & milk in the fridge for our arrival was a lovely touch & much appreciated. Ground floor beautifully tiled throughout, just remember to pack your slippers, chilly on the tootsies but really gorgeous. Close to lovely walks & good restaurants, shops etc too. We stayed for 4 nights in mid October, weather was horrendous but the lodge was lovely & cosy, we will definitely be back again!!"

"Bed was comfortable, but one of them is on the window side of the curtain, so not ideal. Nice bathroom, great shower. The door needs fixing so it closes, and a lock fitting. "
