"I wanted to leave 5 stars but the appearance of a roach as I was getting dressed to leave and the stains in the lampshade that was either blood or bug droppings stole the other two stars. I’ve stayed at many different places in my journeys and I understand what and what not to expect based on the type of property you book. This place was OK overall and if there was ever a need to be in this area briefly I’d consider them again. It’s close to food & the highway it was quiet and seemingly safe just please get the bugs under control no one wants to worry they’ll transfer pest home from their travels. "

"The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute. The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean. There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Excellent quaint hotel in Columbus Ga. The staff were amazing, the hotel was very nice, in a nice area with very pretty views of the river. The rooms were very well appointed and very clean. The bed was so comfortable!!! Breakfast in the morning was very tasty and hot, and the service was wonderful. Check out the restaurant - that was a true 5 start place with wonderful folks working there!!"

"We WERE repeat customers until this past weekend. Do not waste your money on this place. Overcrowded, hazardous conditions and not enough staff or security to keep rogue customers in check. My daughter’s birthday was ruined as we had to cut our weekend short 7 hours in. She couldn’t even swim in the pool without being knocked over by other kids. At night there was screaming and yelling up the halls, outside and above our head was banging to the point where we could not even watch tv or fall asleep. This place has changed for the worse!"
