"This hotel was in a good location in Puerto Rico. It allowed me and my partner to uber around with no issues at all. This location is very close to many things even with traffic. Also it has a walkable strip of stores. The swimmable beach section is very small, so get there early. This location has two pools to visit with one being calm and the other one having a swim up bar with a DJ. One thing which caused a lot of traffic was an event taken place. Hotel guests had to walk through a large crowd in the lobby for the pool or bar. Which is sort of a downfall being charged resort fees. The service also is very slow by the pool. You have to track down workers with swimwear on. That was the only improvement they need to work on. I understand renting out the hotel for events, however management needs to keep in mind that guests are on property. People who attend events shouldn’t be allowed allover the lobby while guests are trying to move around to enjoy what they are paying for (resort fees). Also photos were being taken by the pool area while guests were in the pool. Beautiful event which I’m sure was paid for, but usually events are separated from hotel guests."

"pool/ beach was great and that’s as far as i’ll go. the room and upkeep was TERRIBLE. They say that the wave wing in the hotel was updated, however, first night, there was a leak under the carpet and they couldn’t change our room until the next day. the room we were moved to did not have a leak, BUT had a black mold coming out the vent into the bathroom when we shower. To add insult to injury, the carpet in between the bed smelled of cheese/a sneaker that has been worn over again with no socks on. When we addressed these concerns there was no offer of a new room. We were stuck in this room for three more nights. Not to mention, we all developed sore throats during our stay, and once we landed back in NY, our sore throat was gone. I would not advise anyone to stay here for solely health concerns "
