"The hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. I loved our room. It was very clean very modern and I was very happy overall with the stay. The one thing that could have improved was the rooms were a little hot at night. The AC did not seem to cool the rooms as well at night. I was told this was because of EU regulations."

"It was exactly what I needed: a nice little uncomplicated hotel to lay my head while I was in Barcelona. Easy access to public transportation, full continental breakfast, several quality stores and restaurants nearby. A special thank you to Miriam, who went out of her way to make sure I was able to get to my train on time. Service above and beyond!"

"The staff was amazing. So helpful and so nice. We had some travel issues and she went above and beyond for us. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast was simple but a nice atmosphere. Pretty close to Sagrada Família and central area."

"Checked all the boxes for a comfortable stay- plus the view from the rooftop was 10/10. We had trouble with the air conditioning in our room and promptly the desk clerk brought us a fan to help move air in the room. Would highly recommend anybody coming to Barcelona."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Apartahotel Bertran and will be coming back! The room was spacious and we were provided a baby crib upon request and availability. We enjoyed that it was in walking distance from the subway station and multiple bus stops. The price was very reasonable and even though we had to turn off all power when we were out, the room stayed cool. They had 2 elevators which is convenient when checking in and out. The Kitchen space was helpful fairly well stocked in utensils. The only thing they missed was we weren’t given any trash bags in the bathroom or kitchen area, but we managed"

"Really happy with our stay. It’s a basic hotel but very well maintained and everything is clean. Room was plenty big enough and the bathroom was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. I appreciated the water fountain in reception and drinks are available at a very reasonable price. Location was ideal with the metro just a minute away allowing city access and the bus 2 mins away to get to the beach. If you’re after a budget friendly stay that is close to transport and clean then I would recommend. If you want a fancy hotel then this isn’t it but then you’ll have to pay for that. We were happy here"
