"We absolutely loved everything about this place. There was a lot of room for our 3 teens and us. The rooms were clean, modern and very well kept.
Melisa, the manager who ran the front desk was amazing!! She was helpful and organized. Would definitely go back again."

"The location was great and we very much enjoed the placa and double balconies. The front desk was so helpful and ordered our earl morning cab for us so we didn't need to worry. "

"Great place in the great location most of the tourist attractions 30-40 minutes walk, also place located next to various public transportation that was getting us everywhere with out transfers."

"Occidental 414 was a great place with a high level of service and comfort. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Views of the street from the hotel room were stunning but not all rooms have the same view. Breakfast was spectacularly delicious and offered a great variety of foods. Something for everyone!! We stayed on the first floor and did notice the regular light rumble of the metro. But this did not disrupt sleep. Rooftop terrace and pool were a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel is not cheap but the neighborhood was not crowded and the location was perfect in my opinion. Public transportation was easy to access!! Would have like a little more space in our room but the high ceilings were nice touch."
"I was super happy at how close this was to Sagrada Família Basílica. It made it a very easy walk for mom who was traveling with me and has mobility issues. There were plenty of grocery stores close by to get fresh fruit, drinks & snacks. Also had a washateria close by and I was able to wash our clothes since the best way to travel for me is with a carry on. Overall convenient and public transportation was accessible. I recommend this place for your Barcelona visit. "
"The staff here are what made our stay great. They went above and beyond. I booked this hotel for my elderly aunt and I. She does not walk well, but her dream has always been to visit Spain. I did not know that the elevator doesn't go up to the terrace and there are 2 flights of stairs to get there. When the maintenance lady saw that we stopped at base of steps because we couldn't go up, she called in reinforcements. 2 burley gentleman helped get my aunt up the steps and she was able to see La Sagrada Familia and the gorgeous view. All of the front desk, cafe and restaurant staff were wonderful. Made this stay forever memorable for my aunt and I am so grateful"

"Lovely place to stay near Park Guel. It retains it's old fashioned feel but with some extra touches.
Buffet breakfast is available 24/7 if one is a little peckish.
There is a nice veranda at the front to sit ot and read or relax. The only minor issue is that since it's a period property the doors to rooms aren't airtight so you can hear if other people come in late at night but no one came in too late or was to noisy and it's on a hill so every walk back burns off a few extra calories. Staff were really helpful with check in and cafes & supermarkets nearby.
