The surrounding neighborhood was very nice and non-touristy, full of local boutiques and restaurants. The only thing was that it’s a bit of a walk from the closest Metro station (Hospital Clinic stop on L3). "

"Room is very clean, decent size with the money I paid. Staff is very friendly. Dafne helped me with my checking-in, checking out, smooth, quick. She also helped me packing breakfast while we were on a rush to tour. I didn’t pay attention on the shops nearby, but the location is only 2 or 3 minutes away. They have free breakfast with fresh squeezed juice. It would take less than 15 minutes to get to La Rambla."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It's located in the nicest part of Bracelona, along the Diagonal Avenue. It's useful that the hotel is situated right next to the beautiful L'illa Shopping Centre (the mall's food court had an impressive variety of culinary options). Rooms are large and nicely decorated. Hotel staff are overall polite, professional and very helpful. There is special attention to cleanliness. Breakfast was nice, although the variety of the main courses could be improved....

"Overall, our 5-night stay in hotel Astoria was excellent and would definitely stay again. Check in and out was really easy and handy to have 24/7 reception for early/late arrivals. Staff were very friendly and happy to give recommendations. The rooms were very clean and tidy with nice touches. The tiniest improvement to the rooms would be a little coffee/tea area but there was a fridge with water and drinks which was great. Really good location, in a quiet spot with lot's of lovely cafes, bars,...
