"The hotel offers less than expected. As a Resort & Spa it's expected to have Resort's facilities and to be a spa which nothing more than swimming-pool was found.

"IL Carmine is a former convent and a historic building. Beautiful architecture. Very nice restaurant. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean with excellent ensuite bathrooms. Pillows and queen mattress were in great shape and ac worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. An excellent breakfast was provided in the price of the room as was free parking right in front of the hotel. We found Il Carmine to be an excellent value."

"My extended family (11 of us) have just returned from this villa in Sicily so wanted to provide a review. The properties are amazing and with a really interesting history. They are presented in a professionally and personal way. They really felt like homes. Francesca, the owner / host was simply brilliant. From driving us to and from Trapani to get our hire car, to recommending great restaurants and places to go, organising taxis, there was not a thing she did not do to help make our stay great. I would like to thank her personally and hence the 5 star review"
"The apartment is ideally placed in Erice with great access to all the sites, the apartment is beautiful and the roof terrance has a stunning view! The hosts were fantastic and made our stay! A massive thank you from the both of us.Erice is definitely worth a visit with narrow streets and stunning views. Some fantastic restaurants available we chose to eat at Osteria di Venere, which a lovely meal, I recommend booking as it was very busy! "
