The location of this property is great.
It is only 2 min walk from the Guglie orange Alilaguna line stop from the airport, and 7 min walk from the Sta Lucia train station, accordingly it is easy to reach a ACTV vaporetto station. Much more fun though to walk up the lively street the apartement is located on to experience Venice at its fullest.
Shops, restaurants, a small market and super markets are all within easy walking distance, including the Spar market located in a fancy old theater.
The only drawback is the daytime honking of the vaporetto at each other to warn the oncoming traffic. However the view down the canal is worth it.
The appartement is charming and warm. It is truly only equipped for two people when it comes to dishes, especially cups, which is fine if you do your dishes right away. The chairs are quite wiggley, be careful.
Be prepared to climb stairs to get up to the appartement, and even higher to a fun little terasse, that would be even more fun with a small bistro table and chairs on it, which it is lacking.
The host is very responsive and helpful.
If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you truly live in Venezia, this is for you.
