  • Make pool days and beach outings the heart of your stay at Sea Turtle Sunshine. Enjoy a private 15x30-foot heated saltwater pool and fully fenced backyard, a short drive from Venice-area beaches. You can walk or bike through Shamrock Park and out onto the Venetian Waterway. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sleeps 6, with two queen bedrooms and a twin/trundle room. Updated kitchen and bathrooms, screened outdoor dining and a grill round out your stay. Dogs welcome under the listing's pet rules.

    PRIVATE HEATED POOL & OUTDOOR LIVING
    The private 15x30-foot saltwater pool gives you room to swim, play and relax. The pool heater is set to 88°F year-round. Enjoy the screened pool area, outdoor dining, and a grill with propane provided. The oversized, fully fenced backyard has 8-foot privacy fencing.

    THREE BEDROOMS, SLEEPS SIX
    This approximately 1,150-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two updated bathrooms.
    Bedroom 1: queen bed.
    Bedroom 2: queen bed.
    Bedroom 3: twin bed with a pullout twin trundle; this room also offers space to work or read.
    Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.

    WALK & BIKE ALONG THE WATERWAY
    Walk to nearby Shamrock Park and connect to the Venetian Waterway Park Trail for miles of walking and biking beside the Intracoastal Waterway. The east-side trail runs north to the historic Venice Train Depot, where it connects with The Legacy Trail for longer outings. Dogs are welcome on leash.

    BEACH DAYS & EXPLORING VENICE
    Several Venice-area beaches are about 4–5 miles away, an easy drive for a beach day before returning to your own pool. Downtown Venice offers local shops and restaurants. For a beach outing with your dog, drive to Brohard Paw Park and its dog beach.

    UPDATED SPACES & EVERYDAY COMFORTS
    The kitchen has granite countertops, a breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances. Wi-Fi, DIRECTV and TVs in the two main bedrooms and living room make it easy to settle in between outings.

    BEACH & BIKE GEAR
    Bicycles and beach gear are provided, including chairs, towels and shark-tooth sifters. On-site laundry adds convenience after beach and pool days.

    BRING YOUR DOG
    Dogs are welcome under the listing's existing pet rules. Enjoy the fully fenced yard, then walk to nearby Shamrock Park for on-leash dog walks and paved trails. The park is also great for biking, birding, tennis and visits to the playground.

    We manage the home personally and work with local help. Please respect our quiet residential neighborhood.

PERFECT VACATION

This was my 4th time staying at this property. Every time has been a 5star review. Ryan is a perfect host ! The house is very comfortable ( beds are great). The pool is big and a very comfortable temp. Large fenced yard for privacy and great for dogs. Beaches are a 10-15 min.drive. Thanks Ryan for another great stay. I'll be returning again. Milton S.

Loved our stay.

We highly recommend the Piedmont House.Close proximity to beaches, shopping and restaurants. There are also bikes provided for bike trails.We spent the majority of our week stay in the beautiful pool.Ryan, the host, will address any concerns or questions you have.The Piedmont House is very warm and inviting.I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have.

The pool and yard were beautiful. The house is older but everything we needed was provided. FYI, water is well water so it has an egg smell.

Hurricane Helene visit

The owners were very easy to get ahold of, and were very accommodating considering a hurricane was supposed to hit when we got there. The home is beautiful, the pool is perfect for a dip and my dog loved it as well. Fenced in backyard was nice to let the dog out. We didn’t need to go anywhere, the house had everything we needed. We are already looking at the calendar to come back!

Get away

Much needed time off. The house was very comfortable. We enjoy the pool so much. The house is pet friendly. So our four legged kids had so much fun in the private/fence backyard. There is a park that you can walk too. Beach 12 minutes away and close to shopping stores. Ryan the host is very nice.

Cleaner

Decent house with a very nice pool. The mattresses on the twin beds were horrible. The carpets in the bedrooms need to be ripped out. I would replace with tile. The bathroom sink had so much hair gathered around the drain the water drained very slow. We wouldn't use the dish washer because it was so nasty with built up Calcium and grease laying in the bottom of it. We washed everything by hand before and after we used it. Very poor cleanliness.

This property is relaxing and peaceful. The pool area is beautiful and welcoming! We found the residence clean, and well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The house has a lot of natural light, comfortable furniture, good beds/pillows. The neighborhood is quiet, especially at night. Our Host, Ryan, is quick to respond and his reply's are friendly The location is convenient. The A/C is great -- and in FL on hot/humid this is something that you really need! Perfect vacation home for travelers of all ages.

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. The location was perfect - close to many great beaches. The pool was a fabulous refuge after a day in the sun. The house was so clean and comfortable it felt like we were staying with family. Ryan was so easy to reach with any questions we had. Definitely a place we would return to!

We had a great stay at Ryan & Lee's place. My girlfriend, dog, and I came up from Fort Myers and mother/step dad came down from Maryland.We visited Manasota Key Beach, Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, and Siesta Key while we were there and also perused Historic Downtown Venice.The property was neat and clean and the owner was very responsive to messages. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and most of your needs (grocery store, restaurants, etc) were all within a 10 minute drive.We would certainly stay again!
