Disliked: Communication
The apartment is in a very central location, making it easy to explore Venice on foot. The check-in process was ultimately straightforward, although it required providing a significant amount of additional information in advance, and communication with the host was often quite slow.
The apartment itself is small but generally as described. The bathroom is much smaller than it appears in the listing, but otherwise the accommodations were adequate, and I would not have considered leaving a negative review based on the apartment alone.
The main issue was that our group consisted of two families staying in separate bedrooms, yet we were provided with only one key. This had a major impact on our stay. Instead of enjoying Venice independently, we constantly had to coordinate our schedules and meet up just to hand the key back and forth. On one occasion, I was locked out close to midnight because my friend had the key, and poor mobile reception in the area made it very difficult to locate each other. This created unnecessary stress throughout the trip.
Another drawback was the construction immediately next door, with work beginning around 7:00 a.m. each morning, making it difficult to sleep.
Overall, the apartment's location is excellent, and the accommodations are acceptable for a short stay. However, the decision to provide only a single key for an apartment intended to accommodate multiple guests significantly affected our experience. If a second key had been available, our s
