The Luxury of an Elegant Apartment at the Foot of the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal

Luxurious 110 square meter apartment renovated in 2014. Located on the second floor of a historic building in the city center of Venice, one hundred meters from the Rialto Bridge and three hundred meters from Piazza San Marco. The house consists of a large entrance corridor , lounge and dining room with new elegant golden suede sofas of Venetian manufacture and glass dining table with Italian design wooden chairs; two double bedrooms, one with private bathroom with shower, a second bathroom with tub of elegant faucets. The small kitchen located next to the access corridor to the living room is complete with electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, American coffee machine. Furthermore, the kitchen leads to an equipped wardrobe room, where you can comfortably store luggage and clothes.
The structure is equipped with AC for limited use in respect of the environment.
We kindly ask you not to use shoes inside the apartment.

Very nice apartment on the third floor (no elevator). The location is exceptional, within walking distance of restaurants, the Rialto Bridge, and other significant sites, water taxis, and shopping. The apartment was very clean, and the host was exceptionally gracious and responsive. I definitely recommend this apartment for vacations in Venice.

We had a wonderful stay in Venice. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The spacious living room and bedrooms were perfect after touring Venice. Just a 3 minute walk from the Railto Bridge, this apartment is convenient for exploring the city. The hosts were very helpful prior to our arrival, greeted us at the apartment, and offered helpful recommendations for dining in the area. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this apartment to our friends and family. Thank you Francesca and Paolo for a wonderful place to stay during our June 2025 trip!

Great Location!

Great location! Very clean! Francesca was so helpful pre arrival and the person who met us went over everything in the apartment and how to use everything and noted things on a map. Beds were comfortable. The apt had so much character. Great place to stay!

Fantastic Location

The apartment is in the middle of all the action of Venice. Close to many restaurants, museums, and churches. Super friendly and helpful host who was very patient with us getting on the boat and taking it two stops from the train terminal to Rialto Bridge. Also provided great help on getting to various ‘must see’ places. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Just above a busy street with great shopping but quiet.

Cutest Listing ever

This listing was perfect! Super close to almost everything we wanted to visit while in Venice! Checkin process was a breeze and communication with the host was excellent! I would definitely stay here again. One suggestion would be another plug in fan for summer nights!

The flat was as advertised, clean with a great location. Francesea was an excellent host with a smooth check in procedure. The flat was spacious, with a comfortale bed and bathrooms that were nicely appointed. We even received a welcome bottle of wine. Would definitely stay again if ever in Venice.

Spacious Apartment and Perfect Location!

We had a great stay, the apartment is spacious and clean and the washer worked very well! The location is perfect with a quick walk to the Rialto bridge, Piazza San Marco and the Accademia Museum. Chiara was in regular contact and met us when we got off the water taxi to walk us to the apartment. Just a heads up that the apartment is on the 3rd floor if you have trouble with stairs.

The streets of Venice

We loved our location being between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s square. The little restaurant across the street was delicious, and the fellows that ran it were most helpful. We rubbed elbows with several gondoliers at lunch! Franci made all the arrangements for us to get to the airport—very nicely done! We had a great time.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Venice!

We love this apartment during our stay! It was more than enough room for the four of us. It is beautifully furnished with plenty of amenities. I highly suggest staying here. The only thing that I would suggest is to add a second air conditioner. We came during a heat wave and the air conditioner in the family room was not enough to cool down the entire apartment besides that I would definitely come back here again when it is not so hot.

Great Location

The location of this apartment was great. Right at the foot of the Rialto bridge. Apartment was nicely done, but a couple points to keep in mind. This is on the third floor if stairs are an issue. Only one AC unit in the main living room. Rooms have fans, but AC was not adequate to cool down the back bedroom or bathroom. Granted it was extremely hot during our stay. In cooler times, this is a great place to stay.

The perfect spot, apartment and host in Venice!

This is a tremendous location, about 2 min from the Rialto Bridge/Ferry, 5-10 min walk to St Mark’s Sq, and incredibly well centered to anything you want to see on Venice. Lots of shopping and dining within steps of the front door in an upscale neighborhood. The apartment is immaculately clean and maintained, very comfortable and quiet. Of particular note is the quick responsiveness of the owner: Francesca was helpful, flexible, patient and her representative Maria who met us was likewise flexible when our arrival time changed. Maria took the time to point out stores, dining and landmarks in the neighborhood, thoroughly explain the apartment and patiently answer our questions. I cannot recommend this booking enough. Grazie Francesca! Grazie Maria!

Property location specular

The Tilly house apartment is spacious and located very close to the Rialto bridge. The location made it very easy to get to nice restaurants and shopping and st Marks. A water taxi ride from airport was arranged by Francesca with a pickup at the bridge taking us to the apartment. This was very helpful. The kitchen could have used a little more coffee as there were only a few pods available but we found our way to a store for more. The washer was very convenient and worked out nice for us. For cleanliness we could only rate a 4 as the bathroom shower in the bedroom could have been cleaner. Also we did not have a top sheet on the bedding which would have been nice. Other than that great location and host! Thank you for our stay.

Stay near the Rialto

The stay at the Rialto apartment was very nice. We were centrally located to all the wonderful experiences Venice has to offer. A few minor issues we experienced had to do with the en suite bathroom which had a toilet seat which slipped off the commode when used and the shower head in that bathroom which had weak water flow so much so that taking showers was impossible in that bathroom. Also the keys to the front door were tricky. We thought initially they did not work but after some jiggling we figured it out. Finally the stove temperature would only go on low, in case you need to use it. On the plus side, we were met by Maria at the Rialto Bridge when we arrived and walked to the apartment with her. Maria gave us a number of tips about getting around, especially with the vaporetto, as well as some good restaurant recommendations. Just be aware there are three flights of stairs which can be difficult if there are health issues.

Perfect Location, huge apartment!

Good: - GREAT location 1-2 blocks from Rialto bridge on the side the airport water taxi picks up from. Near Michelin star restaurants, St. Mark’s Square - BIG unit. Comfortable couch and table. Decent kitchen. - Fans, kitchen utensils, extra linen, extra blankets and in-suite laundry - Check-in amazing with host’s assistant meeting us at the nearest dock, giving us restaurant recommendations (amazing pizza place!) and showing us the unit. Things to know: - AC does not work very well; it gets quite warm. Fans help but I’d want to be in a different unit if it were June/July/Aug - Beds are very soft. Not horrible but not great. - Internet is basically unusable and there is little no no cell signal in the place. We tried power cycling modem but it’s a very old DSL circuit that suffers from extreme packet loss. Don’t expect to have the internet work for more than a few min at a time. - There is no dryer only a washer; so we had to air dry stuff. I think this is common in Europe though. - it is in the second floor (3rd floor by US terms; 3 flights of stairs no elevator) not an issue for us but it would be for some.

Spacious respite in middle of it all in Venice

Lots of room, great den with sofa big enough for 4 of us to relax a bit after long days of tourista-ness (the thing we couldn’t get in a hotel). AC worked great and plenty of fans if you need a breeze. View over the street was super fun; could open windows and watch the world walk by. Loved the lavazza espresso maker. Beds comfy. One bathroom is en suite, the other is not. One shower in the en suite, one tub with a spray handle in the other bathroom. Host was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp (essential for European travel these days) and very responsive. Place is a little hard to find the first time because the door for the building is down a narrow alley, but host had someone meet us at the dock at Rialto to walk us to the place (less than 5 min walk). Easy walk to essentially everywhere except Lido and Murano/Burano. It is on the 2nd floor (third floor in the U.S.) so you have to walk your bags up with no elevator. Totally worth it though. We wanted to stay in a real “home” instead of hotel and it was perfect for that, though larger than most apartments in Venice I suspect. Multiple VRBO properties in the building and buildings around it (I’ve read Venice is 50% tourist housing at this point). We never saw anyone else in the building in four days, so very quiet. We could easily walk back and take breaks at the condo before heading out for dinner or evening events. Highly recommend! Only issue is the safe didn’t work because last guest left it locked.
