"Best place to stay in La Fortuna! This lodge was truly special, and has so much to offer we barely needed to leave the grounds. Booking nature walks and guided tours on the premises was super easy and convenient. Eduardo is the main guide and he is so knowledgeable! Facilities were clean and beautiful. We saw so many birds just from our window into the garden. Mario in the restaurant was very personable and made us feel welcome each time we dined. Could not recommend this place anymore! "

"Fabulous hotel with great staff and excellent restaurant. Room was very nice and spotless. The bed and bedding was excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the Capiwo Beef Tenderloin is the best tenderloin in all of Costa Rica. The grounds of Sibu were well maintained and very attractive. The location is convenient on a paved road."

"The staff were very friendly. All wore hair nets. Rooms clean. Good selection of food. Internet is terrible, check in was very poor. Fortunately chatgpt told us all we need to know about the different restaurants we could go to or we wouldnt have known any of that. Kids club was very good"

"The treehouse rooms were incredible, with newer furnishings and the amazing walk out to the hot tub in the elevated tree trunk (room 403). Staff were excellent as well and always available to ahuttle you around the property in a cart. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, though it was quite pricey as was the onsite food; even more than would be expected from a local resort. But definately a special property if you want to get away from.it all deep in the jungle, yet still only 25 mins to La Fortuna."

"My stay at Bauma Hotel was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, it felt like my own private oasis. The hotel’s location offers breathtaking views of the volcano, creating a stunning backdrop that made every morning and evening unforgettable. The room itself was comfortable and beautifully designed, but the shower was the true highlight, so relaxing and luxurious that I genuinely didn’t want to get out. It became one of my favorite parts of the stay! Another major plus was the hotel’s prime location. It was perfectly situated for exploring the town, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Overall, Bauma Hotel exceeded all my expectations. Amazing views, exceptional comfort, and a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more. I had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"I appreciate the staff holding our reservations as we experienced flight delays due to inclement weather. Security checked us in after hours very quickly and had keys ready to escort us to our rooms. Very clean, really good door seals to keep humidity out and efficient AC. THANK YOU!"
