We had a lovely stay at Locanda Dei Boi. It’s a beautiful house in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. The sea view in particular, looking down to Ventimiglia and across the Mediterranean, was spectacular. Alessio was an incredibly kind and attentive host, happy to help us throughout our stay. We loved our two-night vacation here.

Quiet & comfortable. Lovely bedrooms with a great view of the sea through the olive trees! Fridge in the room was super handy. Brilliant little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. You need one after the crazy journey up to the accommodation as the roads only take 1 car width wise & lots of bends so it’s a little stressful but lovely once you’re up there!

Lovely and rustic

Beautiful property. We stayed in the top floor room with terrace. Lovely view over Ventimiglia. Clean and spacious for two. As stated on the hotel info there is no air conditioning. We stayed during the recent heatwave with temps in the high thirties. It was incredibly hot. A fan is provided. Didn’t spoil our trip as we were aware there was no air con but would be a nice upgrade to the room if added. The road is narrow and winding up the mountainside and quite busy. Not for the faint hearted! Definitely need a car to stay here. Easy to tour the coast on the trains. I would recommend driving the short distance to Menton-Garavan station where there is free parking

Quaint and clean room with a lot of charm and fantastic views from the terrace. We were picked up from the train station and later the owner/operator(?) drove a forgotten iPad to us. The host was not very friendly or helpful otherwise. When asked about food (we hadn’t eaten all day and my husband is diabetic) we were told “people get delivery”. We were also told that if we wanted to get into town a bus came by at seven and eleven am. After trying unsuccessfully to order food we decided to move to a different hotel closer in to town where we could eat. We booked two nights at this place and it was just too inconvenient. When i contacted him the next morning about how to get back into the property past the gated driveway he said I should return at seven pm which I found unsettling

Il gestore è molto gentile e disponibile! Nulla da ridire. La strada per arrivare è stretta ma a doppio senso: nella maggior parte dei tratti, quando due macchine che vanno nella direzione opposta si incrociano, devono fermarsi e passare con attenzione. Per il resto, tutto bene. Casa comoda, pulita. Il posto è abbastanza silenzioso e ventilato. A 10 minuti di auto dal lungomare
