I guess I didn’t read the reviews correctly. Basically your getting a room with common areas. It is an apartment that rents out the bedrooms. I was lucky enough to get the room with private bath... but had to sleep on floor as there was only one bed. I was expecting twin beds.... oh well! Great location and we had a great introduction to the area!

It was great for the price, but it's essentially a 3 bedroom, one bathroom apartment, and you're renting one room.

Good, quiet location
It's an apartment with three rooms. We didn't read the description properly and thought we would have the whole apartment to ourselves. In any case, the other guests were respectful and quiet. It's in a great location, close to the Duomo, and in between smaller streets where tourists don't walk on. Because of this, there was no noise from the streets during the night. There's no air conditioning so you will have to sleep with the window opened. There is a fan, however. Everything was extremely clean. You have to pick up the keys, but since it's an apartment you have to call or email to set up a time to meet. You can't just show up at the apartment and expect them to be there. Overall, this was a good stay.

A short stay, but worth it!
We had a lovely albeit short time at Romeo's guest house! The host is very nice, was very accommodating and helpful. It is a shared flat, but you have your own room. We never saw the other guests, however. The town is very old-world-looking with modern shops,and the opera was incredible. The street restaurant across from the opera was lovely and inexpensive. We would definitely stay here again!!

A lovely room and very engaged staff... However the bathroom is shared with other guests.
