"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. "Great location, very close to the train station. It was only about a 15-minute walk from the train. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, when needed. We were able to leave our belongings there, while we explored Naples, before our train left. Our room was large, especially by European standards. The four of us were very comfortable."

"Seventh floor room with no elevator. You have to carry your baggage up 130 steps similar to a medieval castle. The room is fine but the trip up is challenging. Fortunately my wife wasn’t with me or I would have had to forfeit the rent and found a real hotel. If you like climbing this is the place for you."
