Lovely hotel, perfect location, clean, lovely staff especially those in the restaurant and poolside bar. Their service impeccable. Pools are great. Didn’t really see the point of the Spa, maybe it’s a novelty in Europe but really just a couple of jacuzzi’s, indoor pool and sauna. Only used once. Rooms lovely and spacious. Could do with more things to do of an evening is my advice. There is The Lotus Bar but nothing going on really there. In the restaurant the only down side is the griddle where the meat/ fish is cooked. SO slow, always had to que, they should fill the griddle but they don’t they ask each person one at a time what they would like as they get to the front of the que and then cook it, however the food is delicious. Aside from that I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. More a four star, not a five star.

Fabulous hotel
I booked a short break here with my daughter & we weren’t disappointed. From arrival until departure, the staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is luxurious & all areas very clean . We had an amazing large , family sea view room , which was immaculate. So spacious , with everything you would need provided , eg robes , toiletries , fridge , hairdryer, water , kettle etc The pool areas were very quiet , but that was fine & pool too cold for us to use in May . The indoor spa was lovely & well worth a visit . The restaurant serving breakfast & dinner , was also well stocked with a variety of different foods , again staff very helpful, plates cleared quickly & all areas clean . La Pineda has a beautiful beach & the area was pretty low key . There’s a selection of shops , bars , restaurants within easy walking distance Honestly our short break couldn’t have gone better …very grateful for the sunshine! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Location - far away from Tarragona. might be a curse or blessing. Beach! amazing, clean, huge! Garden and swimming spa: fabulous! Massages: rushed and disappointing; avoid! Rooms: Lack of character, but bed is very comfy

The swimming pool area was good for kids. Parts of the room looked tired, particularly the carpets. The staff in the restaurant could be a bit frosty at times. Overall a good hotel but perhaps falling just short of the five star rating.

Nice hotel
Had a great time. Very nice hotel. We will come back the food in breakfast and dinner was lovely and fresh however I Would not recommend bar food!!!ordered a club sandwich one day and coke €15.50 the sandwich was barley edible lettuce was brown and tomato on bread made it wet. It was like it was sitting somewhere for days best to walk down street if hungry before dinner.

This resort hotel has a great spa, two pools, huge two story villas, and very friendly and helpful staff. It was truly a 5 star stay at the beach resort.

Not a 5 star hotel
Very tired looking with many minor repaitres neded. People walking through the spa from the pool with thier shoes on creating a very diry floor. Foob was gokd to bad on some days. For us it was 5 star cost but did not deliver a 5 star experiance.

Excellent hotel right by the beach
The hotel is right by the beach and within walking distance of eateries, shops and supermarkets. The hotel itself is excellent with great facilities pool, spa, gym. We stayed half board with breakfast and dinner, the food is great with a lot of choice and the restaurant staff are lovely and very attentive especially Monica and Maria. Would definitely return!

Fantastic, must go again
No complaints what so ever, extremely helpful and friendly staff, great rooms with a fancy bathroom, spa was amazing. Good location with everything you need a few mins walk away. Clean beach and close to attractions. Anna at reception, Abadoulay and Robert at the bar and all other staff made our stay very memorable. Highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Went to celebrate my birthday and the staff had ensured i would not be disappointed. Great place to celebrate, nothing at all to complain about. Get packing and go to this hotel!

Gran Palas Hotel
Located across the road from the beach, excellent choice of food at breakfast, spa pass definitely essential to relax after busy day or just to pamper yourself, located in La Pineda, close to Salou within walking distance, Tarragona and Portadventura by bus. Cafes, restaurants and bars located nearby to suit all tastes and budgets. We received a nice room with views to the sea and a very large balcony, our room was spacious and modern, a few signs of wear and tear but you would have to be very picky to raise issue. friendly staff and a great short break.

Nice hotel close to the beach
We enjoyed our stay at the Grab Palas. Excellent pool and leisure complex. We did not like to hotel policy of having to purchase two pillows at £10.00 per day. We also complained about the loudness of the outside music which went on until midnight. It was really intrusive to the internal facing rooms.

NE VAUT PAS LES 5 ETOILES.
Mauvaise organisation à l'arrivée 40 min pour le check in alors que nous n'étions que 2 familles. Chambre un peu vétuste, carrelage et chasse d'eau cassée dans la salle de bain. Rideau déchirés. Sonorisation plus que mauvaise pour le standing. Dîner ( plat chaud), buffet tout etait froid même les plats chaud. Le buffet meritrait d'avoir des etiquettes pour savoir ce que l'on mange. Point positif: personnel agréable.

Bonjour, notre séjour s’est très mal passé du surtout à cause de la literie matelas très très dur et l’accueil n’est pas terrible. Pareil pas de service bagages ma chambre n’était pas accessible pour moi. Ils m’ont proposé une suite et par contre ils m’ont fait payer la différence. La seule chose de positif dans cette hôtel, c’est le restaurant, il n’y a pas de service bagages, il faut se débrouiller soi-même et pour faire livrer quoi que ce soit dans la chambre c’est 18 €. Je trouve ça énorme en frais de service. Bref pour moi c’est un trois-étoiles.

Au top!
Hôtel vraiment sympa. Propre et personnel très aimable. Petit déjeuner copieux. Les piscines sont propres et très bien entretenues. L’espace jardin et terrasse est superbe. Seul hic la climatisation dans les chambres qui ne pulse pas beaucoup d’air frais et fais beaucoup de bruit…

grundsätzlich hotelanlage sehr schön! bars (außer poolbar) erst ab 20.00h geöffnet! klimaanlage in unserem zimmer war sehr laut… zimmerwechsel wurde nicht angeboten, obwohl noch andere zimmer in dieser kategorie verfügbar waren! kein gepäckservice… (5 sterne hotel🙈?)! rezeptionsmitarbeiter eher unfreundlich und nicht sehr motiviert! frühstück hervorragend!

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Auch allgemein im Hotel könnten Sache ein wenig Renoviert werden. Das Hotel insgesamt inkl. Essen war aber gut!
