There was virtually no storage or shelf space for unpacking, forcing me to live and dress entirely out of my carry-on luggage. On top of that, basic comfort items were completely missing—there wasn't even ice available. The room layout and basic guest amenities definitely need a major upgrade."

"Beautiful convenient property with kind, professional staff. We changed our plans last minute and ended up here with no expectations, but even if we’d had high ones, Catalonia Portal del Angel would have exceeded them. Even our inexpensive interior room had a cute view. We dropped off our rental car at Enterprise around the corner from the hotel and a few days later picked up the A1 to the airport at the end of the square. Couldn’t have been easier."

The staff were generally helpful but one front desk person gave us a weird vibe, as if he wondered why we were even staying there. Additionally, housekeeping came quite late in the day, sometimes after 4pm when we would have liked a siesta."
