"We loved our stay at this house. It is such a wonderful location, very close to the old town of Ostuni, at the same time in the countryside. The house has so many areas to hang out and relax - and in that way is really unique. We also booked a pizza making experience through the owner and that was our favourite night of our stay. "Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "Wonderful. For us; perfect. Beautifully appointed in a minimalist style. All rooms open onto the pool but in such a way that there is complete privacy…rooms are set back underneath a gorgeous canopy of vines in an L shaped colonnade. There were never more than half a dozen people at the pool, which is enormous. The bedrooms have quiet air conditioning (only turned it on at night) and the beds are THE most comfortable with nice, firm mattresses. We ate dinner on one occasion and it was excellent. A lovely setting. We had lunch twice and again, it was just what we wanted. Because most people seem to dine elsewhere, the menus are naturally limited in scope but suited our needs completely. The staff, particularly Allesandro, could not have been nicer. They were always there to anticipate our needs. The location was also perfect…15 minutes to Mesagne, which is a lovely town. 25 minutes to Lecce and about the same to Brindisi. I could not recommend Masseria Malvindi highly enough. If you’re looking to unwind in a quiet and very pleasant environment; this certainly would be top of the list. "
